Dilip Sunkum Manjunath is a Technical Expert and Senior Technical Architect at Havells India Ltd with over 9 years of relevant experience in software architecture, development, and deployment on cloud environments like Microsoft Azure, AWS, and OpenStack. He is a certified SAFe® 4 Agilist by Scaled Agile Inc and an AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate. Dilip has extensive expertise in end-to-end solutioning, technical architecture design, hands-on implementations, and cloud security strategies. He has solid experience in designing solutions for OpenStack, Azure, and AWS clouds and implementing end-to-end DevOps solutions. Dilip has hands-on experience in deploying services on AWS and Microsoft Azure and designing and implementing DevOps processes, CI/CD pipelines, and solutions on containerizing applications. He is a subject matter expert and mentor for the team, helping the team members acquire cloud and programming knowledge. Dilip has worked on implementing organization-wide Scrum methodologies for optimizing application development and faster reach to market. He has worked with US and Japan clients and has excellent leadership and effective interpersonal communication skills. In his current role at Havells India Ltd, Dilip has acted as interim head and managed the Software and Architecture team during the leadership transition, managing 20 people. He has supported and fine-tuned B2C platforms consumer electronics businesses and architected and built Smart city platform MVP using cloud-native services and containerization, mentoring and developing Java programming and open-source skills for the team members. Dilip has designed a Common module design for IaaM to support multi-tenancy by adopting open-source technology and enhanced service performance by constantly working with cloud vendors. He has implemented standard processes for work intake and delivering, introduced the team to agile, DevOps process, prioritization of work, story points, and CICD automation. Dilip has streamlined the product prioritization flow with cross-teams and built a product pipeline that increased team velocity. Previously, Dilip worked as a Multi-Cloud Architect and Enterprise Architecture Cloud strategy at Boeing, leading the team that worked on the private cloud deployment in India for Boeing successfully from scratch, integration with enterprise systems. He owned the private cloud deployment in India, supporting 2000 people productivity and support India operation (OpenStack cloud; vendor).
